Question: My husband's ancestors (James William and Sarah Jane Bruner)died in Clinton Co, Illinois, on 29 March 1859 and 15 March 1859 respectively. I'm just curious if local history says anything about an epidemic at that time. Thanks.

I am trying to find the locaton of Elizabeth (Rockey) Nighswander. I believe she is buried in a small cemetery called "Smith Cemetery" near her son, Jesse, who died in 1865. I believe Betsey died in around 1879. Any help on the location of this site would be helpful.

Jim, there is an Elizabeth Nighswander buried in Johnson Cemetery in Santa Fe Township along with J. Nighswander. The death record book says she was born in Maryland and died 26 Jul 1879 of congestive fever aged 69 years and 6 months. |

I am looking for a researcher who would be able to help me locate a lawsuit against the county in December of 1886.
August Konig died in the county jail in 1885 and his brother is now suing the county. Not sure this is my family but if I had the brother's name it would be helpful and one would assume that is on the lawsuit.

Looking for information about McCord S. Holler born Mar 16 1895 Bardolph, IL
parents believed to be Nelson Holler and Lulu (Lucinda) Walker. He shows up in census after he was married but in the 1900 an 1910 there is listing for a dau Cordia b 1895 with Nelson and Lulu but not a son with that birthdate. He died in Seattle, WA Ju 28 1964. He was married to Irene F. Gramer in Clinton in 1918. It is very confusing. Any help appreciated
