Dorothy and Frankie,
Thank you for this site. It's one of the better county sites I've been to.
I am the granddaughter of Jude Just and Anna May DePontaut and have family info on these families for anyone searching. I also am a descendant of Ludwig Noller and have this family back to 1550 Germany.

We're glad you enjoy it. We'll set up a new family photo gallery photo this evening for the Noller Family. Would you like your name and email shown with them so other researchers might be able to contact you?

Thank you doesn't seem enough to cover what I feel, but I want to give my heartiest thanks to all the people that spent so much time getting gravestone photos and creating webpages on this site. It is truly a special gift and a labor of love and dedication. I and my family are recipiants of this fabulous gift of yours. You have made the impossible possible for us in tracing our WIESE family roots. They were the ones that made us Americans.

To St Johns church. My records show by great great grandfather to be buried in your cemetery. He was also the pastor from 1889 until his death in 1904 ( when the church was a Lutheran church) His name was Rudolph H F John and date of death was 11/22/1904. Do you have any records about him? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

The 1881 History of Marion and Clinton Co book has this note for the Evangelical St. Peter's Church at Centralia, in case this could be a relative, too. ... When the members reached 12 in number in 1863, their efforts were blessed. The minister they called upon, Rev. R. John, then in Warren county, MO. accepted their offer, and soon was in their midst. ...... The first minister, Rev. R. John, remained here till 1865.
There is no stone in the cemetery for your GGGF. I recommend you call the church and ask them 618-526-4319. They have a great history/genealogy office.

I'm looking for information on Elmer Yaeger and his wife Kathryn/Catherine Georger. Kathryn/Catherine Georger was the d/o Emil Georger and Minnie Hestin. I have found Elmer & Kathryn in the 1930 & 1940 federal census records. They had a daughter, Iris, born 1924. Her married name was Warren. Elmer b 23 May 1903, d Dec 1975. Kathryn b 14 Mar 1904, d 5 Apr 1998. Both born New Baden, Kathryn died Carlyle. Elmer, Kathryn, and Iris are buried in Green Mount cemetery. Pictures of their graves are on FindAGrave.
Does anyone have any contacts in Carlyle that might be able to tell me if Iris Yaeger Warren had children and if so, are they in Carlyle?
Thanks, Julie

I just finished an extensive research in the families recorded in the records of St. Damian Catholic Church. And when looking at the information that Kathy Rakers posted for the St. Damian Cem., I find many many dates to be wrong in the cemetery info. Before execpting the dates in the cemetery as posted, one should check the church records.

Thank you for your comments. I know Dorothy and Gloria have been working for years to create a new St Damian Cemetery listing. They are very close to releasing the new listing but every time they think they are ready, they make another trip to the cemetery and find some more changes. Are you aware of the 695 pictures http://clintonilgenweb.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=116
Perhaps you could help by sending us details on the errors you have found?
