The Barker Cemetery is now blocked off by landowner Donald Murray he / or someone else put big tree stumps and limbs across the entrance. And he put up no trespassing sign. I have a family Member who whant to go into that Cemetery but can't now.

I would ask the landowner for permission, but since you show his name, I am assuming you did that already, and were denied. I am not a lawyer, but I am guessing that there is an implied easement to a cemetery. I would contact the Brookside township clerk next for advice. https://www.clintonco.illinois.gov/community/townships/

This has Robison as her maiden name - that was her first husband (ROBISON, Frank Burr also in Carlyle Cemetery). Her maiden name is Thorman and she is the child of Katherine and Henry Thorman, also in Carlyle Cemetery. George Ehlen was her second husband. Thanks!

I’m needing help trying to find a grave of Lucy Elizabeth Todd . Her maiden name is Moore born in 1823. Married John Lewis Todd in 1840. Living in Clements Township in Clinton County . I believe died in 1867. Any help would be appreciated .

Hello! My Great-Great-Grandfather committed suicide in Clinton County in 1877. I have that record.
My question is this: How were suicides handled in that year? Newspaper article, burial place, as he was a catholic and do believe that the Catholic church frowned on this> So the reason for the question. Hope that someone can find an answer for this. It would be greatly appreciated.
