Fantastic genealogical website! Has other local sites beat by a mile when it comes to information, ease of use, content.
Wondering if anyone floating around here knows much about the early Parsons in Clinton County? Anthony Parson was in the Keyesport, Wheatfield, Irishtown, areas by the 1860's but unable to locate any land records or info.
Willing to share info on the Parsons and Ogles of Clinton County and Pennsylvania if anyone is interested.
Frankie and Dorothy, I just took some photos of the Parsons and Ogles headstones from Yingst and McKendree Chapel Cemeteries. I tried to upload one to the site but didn't work. Best suggestions?
Thanks!

My great gradfather and his two brothers served in the 48th from Clinton County.
Benhart Johnson(my grandfather) is buried in Albers and his brother Martin Johnson is buried in the Damiansville. He kept his Dutch name Jansen after the war and is buried as Jansen in the cemetary. The other brother was Theodorous Johnson from Damiansville as well but is not buried here. I have extensive information on all three.

Your request was rather broad. What sort of information do you still need? Do you already have the censuses, etc.? I see 39 hits for McClaren on our web page under “Use a Search Engineâ€.
http://www.ilsos.gov/GenealogyMWeb/marrsrch.html says

I searched your wonderful website but cannot find a great, great grandfather. I have records he was in an 1880 census of Brookside Township, Clinton County, Illinois. Perhaps they moved again and I have no record of that. He was 73 at the time. His name was Johsn S. McDowell. I have a birth date of 1806 in Pennsylvania. Any help for me? I checked all the cemeteries at Brookside. Thank you!!!

Do you know that he lived in Clinton County, Illinois? If so, we can try to check further if we get his approximate date and place of birth.
There are two obituaries listed in http://obits.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/obit.cgi
PEREZ, Wilfredo; ; Baltimore MD; Baltimore Sun; 2004-1-9;
PEREZ, Wilfredo; 37; PR>Methuen MA; Eagle T; 1999-5-22;
There are 39 death notices listed for that name on the Social Security Register at http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi Since we don't know your Wilfredo's date of birth, I can't go any further. You might be able to get his location of death, then his obituary which might have his military information in it and it will give his funeral home which might have the military information.

Your site was very helpful. I was trying fine a Vietnam Army buddy (6th CC Chaplins Assistant) by the name of William(Bill)Kahrhoff and did not realize he had died. I will try to visit his grave this summer as he was a fine person and I am sure he is missed by his family.

I was brousing thru your cemetary listing and did not find my grandparents. Their gravesite is in the city cemetary in zone f or g. Their names are: Heinrich Jaeger and Anna (ne Bruegaman ?spelling) Jaeger. Could it be that you have not finished your listing?
