Last Will and Testament of Catharina Becker
In the Name of God. Amen.
I Katharina BECKER of the town of Germantown in the County of Clinton and State of Illinois of the age of 69 years and being of sound mind and memory in the manner following that is to say First. I give and bequeath to my son Frank BECKER all of my Real and personal Estate, notes and accounts of what kind and nature soever but from that he the said Frank Becker shall pay all my funeral Expenses and pay a reasonable amount for masses. Also shall Frank Becker pay one year after my decease to Eberhard RIBBING the sum of Two Hundred Dollars, to Gertrude FOPPE the same time Two Hundred Dollars, to Maria TRAMM the same time Two Hundred Dollars, to Bernard BECKER the same time Two Hundred Dollars and to Margaret SCHROEDER the same time Two Hundred Dollars.
And at last I do hereby appoint Frank Becker sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament without any bond or security to be given.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8th day of J?? in the year of our Lord 1889.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet when at the date thereof signed sealed published and declared by the said Katharine Becker as and for her last will and testament in presents of us who at her request and in her presents and in the presents of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

Clinton County } In Probate, December Term AD 1892
Personally appeared in open court Herman Koch and Peter Wallrath subscribing witnesses to the annexed instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Catharine Becker late of said County, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, do depose and say, each for himself, that he was present and saw the said Catharina Becker sign said Will in their presence, and that they believe that the said testatrix was of sound mind and memory, of lawful age, and under no constraint when she signed said Will.
