In the name of God Amen

I Henry FOCKES of the Town of Wheatfield in the County of Clinton in the State of Illinois, do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.

First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid. Second I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Maria Gasina FOCKES all of my estate both real and presonal whevever situate and of whatever kind or nature consisting inclusive of rights and credits or by whatever kind and description known or described to be her sole and absolute property forever. I hereby constutue and appoint my said wife Maria Gasina Fockes executna of this will and direct that she may not be required by the County Court or by any court to give bond as such executna. In witness whereof I Henry Fockes have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 3d day of October A D 1888.

Personally appeared in open court W. Siemer and B H Wilken and M P Murray subscribing witnesses to the annexed instrument of writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Heinrich Fockes late of said County deceased, who, being duly sworn according to law do depose and say each for himself that they were present and saw the said Heinrich Fockes sign said will in their presence and that they believe that the said testator was of sound mind and memory, of lawful age, and under no constraint when he signed said Will
