Last Will and Testament of H. H. Boerup
In the name of God, I, H. H. BOERUP in the County of Clinton and State of Illinois being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say:
First: My will is that all of my just debts be paid by my Executor herein after named.
Second : I give and bequeath to my wife Sarah Elizabeth BOERUP all my personal property remaining after the debts is paid and all of my Lands situated and described as follows to wit the South West of South West Sec 16 Township one North Range one West of the third principal Meridian Containing (39) thirty nine acres also the North west of the South East in Sec. 21 in Township no one North Range no one West Containing (40) forty acres all the above described Lands lying and being in the County of Clinton and State of Illinois to have and to hold the same during her natural Lifetime and after the death of my beloved wife Sarah Elizabeth Boerup all of the above described Lands and property I give and bequeath to my two daughters and one son namely Alpha Anna BOERUP and Sarah BOERUP, and H. H. BOERUP to be Equaly divided between said Heirs to have and to hold the same forever.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 8th day of March in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and seventy four.

And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint D. A. GARRISON to be the Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking former Wills by me made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above named.

The above instrument consisting of one Sheet was at the date thereof signed sealed published and declared by the said Henry Hancen Boerup as and for his last will and Testament in presence of us who who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other hae subscribed our names as witnesses thereto was at the date thereof declared to us by H. Hancen Boerup the testator therein mentioned to be his last Will and Testament, and he at the same time acknowledged to us and each of us that he had signed and sealed the same and we therefore, at his request and in his present and in the present of each other signed our names thereto as attesting Witnesses.

J. J. CHAMBERS after being duly sworn deposes and says that he is well acquainted with the Handwriting of David A. Garrison deceased and is confident that the signature attached as witness to the Will of Hans Hansen Boerup by the said David A. Garrison is Genuine according to the best of his Knowledge and belief.
