Last Will and Testament of Bernhard Klostermann
In the Name of God, Amen. I, Bernhard KLOSTERMANN, of the town of St. Rose, in the County of Clinton and State of Illinois, of the age of Sixty two years, and being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in the manner following, that is to say: I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth KLOSTERMANN all my real estate and personal property and appoint her to be my executrix, she shall pay my debts. My son Frank KLOSTERMANN is of minor age, my wife shall give to him what the law requires. My wife shall give to my other children what the law requires.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eight day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety two.

The above Instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof, signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Bernard Klostermann as and for his last Will and Testament, in presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses.

Personally appeared in open court Theodore Beckmann and Henry Grapperhaus, subscribing witnesses to the annexed instrument of writing, purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Bernard Klostermann late of said county, deceased, who, being duly sworn according to law do depose and say, each for himself, that they were present and saw the said Bernd. Klostermann sign said Will in their presence, and that they believe that the said Testator was of sound Mind and Memory, of lawful age and under no constraint when he signed said Will.
