Last Will and Testament of Robert Collins McKeever
I Robert Collins MCKEEVER of the Village of Huey in the County of Clinton and State of Illinois do make and declare this to be my last will and Testament.
First I direct that my funeral Expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.
Second I give and devise to Martha Moley LANE the sum of Two Thousand Dollars in Notes.
Third I give and devise to Sarah E. WILTON the sum of Six Hundred Dollars in Notes, her son Robert Alvadore Wiltons tombstone Expense is to come out of that.
Fourth, I give and devise to Elizabeth BERRY the sum of Two Hundred Dollars in Notes the interest accruing on Robert Berry’s Note and principal is to come out of that.
Fifth, I give and devise to Sarah MATSLER the sum of Two Hundred Dollars in Notes.
Sixth I give and devise to Elizabeth SHORT one Hundred Dollars in Notes.
Seventh I give and devise to Martha M. Lane in addition to the Two Thousand Dollars mentioned in the second clause of this will all my personal property of ever nature whatsoever remaining after the payment of aforesaid legacies.
Eighth I give to Robert Collins McKeever WILLIAMSON the south west forty (40) of the south west quarter of section (2) two Township on North Range two west of the Third principal Meridian and the East House and barn and the Improvement connected thereto in Clinton County Ills.
Ninth I give to Robert Collins CLARK the west half of the East half of the south West quarter of section two (2) Township (1) one North of range two west of the third principal Meridian in Clinton County Illinois.
Tenth I give and devise to Robert Collins WHITE the west thirty five acres of the North East forty (40) of the North west 1/4 of section (11) Eleven Township one (1) north of Range two west of the third principal Meridian in Clinton County Ills.
Eleventh, I give and devise to Wm. T. Wilton and Sarah C. Wilton his wife the north Twenty six acres of the south west forty of the north west quarter of section (2) two Township one (1) North of range (2) two west of the third principal Meridian in Clinton County Illinois.
Twelfth, I give and devise to Thomas M. ABERNATHY the south fifteen acres of the south west forty of the North west quarter of section (2) two and the North ten (10) acres of the North west forty (40) of the southwest quarter of section (2) two all in Township one (1) north of range two (2) west of the third principal meridian Clinton County Illinois.
Thirteenth, I give and devise to Charles Collins PHILLIPS the North twenty six and two third acres of the North East forty of the south East quarter of section (3) three town and range before stated.
Fourteenth, I give and devise to Thomas Collins GRAY, the middle twenty six and two third acres off the East half of the south East quarter of section three, Township one (1) North Range two (2) west of the third principal Meridian in Clinton County Illinois.
Fifteenth, I give and devise to Thomas Collins NICHOLS the south twenty six and two third acres of the south end of the East Eighty of the South East quarter of section (3) three Township one north of range two west of the third principal meridian in Clinton County Illinois.
Sixteenth I give and devise to James JENNINGS the North thirteen and one third acres of the north west forty of the North East quarter of section Eleven.
Seventeenth I give and devise to Lilbern (?) B. JENNINGS and Liza Jennings his wife, the middle Thirteen and one third acres divided East and west of the North west forty of the North west quarter of section (11) eleven.
Eighteenth I give and devise to Abigail ROSE the south thirteen and one third acres of the North west forty of the North west quarter of Section Eleven (11) all in Township (1) one North of range two 2 west of the third principal meridian in Clinton County Illinois.
Nineteenth I give and devise to Collins Otto CROCKER lots six seven, eight and nine in Block (2) two in Steels (?) addition to the Village of Huey formerly Clement in Clinton County Illinois with all improvements thereon.
Twentieth I give and devise to William Collins SHORT the North East of lot seven being all of lot seven except the portion owned by the Christian Church of Huey Illinois, all so all of lot eight in the original Village of Huey formerly Clement Clinton County Illinois and the south half of the south half of lots one (1) and two (2) in Block (2) two in the original Town of Clement now Huey in Clinton County Illinois.
Twenty one, I give and devise to William T. WILTON and Sarah C. Wilton the north half of the south half of lots one (1) and two (2) in the original Town of Clement now Huey Clinton County Illinois.
Twenty two, Martha M. LANE to hold the Household and all the Improvements thereon until she dies or marries or leaves it than William Collins Short shall have possession of same.
Twenty third I do hereby impower my Executrix and my Executor or either of them or their administrators, to sell transfer and convey sign my name the same as I cold doo if I were personally present to the following described tract or parcel of Land it being the south thirty acres of the north west forty of the south west quarter of section two (2) township one (1) north of range two (2) west of the third principal meridian in Clinton County Ills. Said lot of land to be sold in a credit of twelve months the purchaser to give not and approved personal security and if nessary a Mortgage on the primaces sold to secure the payment thereof and after complying with this will if any of this note is not called for, the remainder goes to Martha M. Lane. And I request that this will be recorded but that any Estate be kept out of court as there is no debts owing.
Twenty fourth I doo hereby constitute and appoint Martha M. Lane and William T. Wilton as my executrix and executor of this will.
Twenty fifth I doo hereby revoke all former Wills by me made.

Personally appeared in open court Joseph Sprague Coy and Charles Melvin Wilton and Mary Cornelia Prather subscribing Witnesses to the annexed justous (?) of writing, purporting to the last Will and Testament of Robert Collins McKeever late of said county, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law do depose and say each for himself that they were present and saw the said Robert Collins McKeever sign said will in their presence and that they believe that the said testator was of sound mind and memory and under no constraint, also of lawful age when he signed the same.
