Last Will and Testament Orcenith Hicks ABERNATHY of the Town of Clement, Clinton County Illinois.

I Orcenith Hicks Abernathy of the Town of Clement in the County of Clinton and State of Illinois of the age of Twenty five years and being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the Manner following:

1st It is my will that all of my first debts be fully paid out of my effects.

2nd I will and bequeath to William F. WATTS my double barrel shot fun and One hundred Dollars to be paid him by my Administrator.

3rd I will and bequeath to Perry F. ALLEN all of my Books.

4th I devise and bequeath to my Brother Tomas A. Abernathy all the rest and residue of my Property of every kind and nature, his Heirs and assigns forever, and I hereby appoint Thomas A. Abernathy executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Clement Clinton County Illinois this 24th of September A. D. 1878.

The above Instrument was at the date threof signed sealed published and declared by Orcenith Hicks Abernathy as and for his last Will and Testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto this September 24th 1878.

Personally appeared in open court Samuel Johnson and Cyrus M. White subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Will and Testament of O. H. Abernathy late of Clinton County, deceased, who being duly sworn according to Law do depose and say each for himself that the foregoing is the last Will and Testament of the said O. H. Abernathy, deceased, that they subscribed their names thereto as attesting Witnesses at the request of said Testator, and in his presence, and in the presence, of each other, on the 24th day of September A. D. 1878. That he then and there subscribed his name therto in their presence, and declared the same to be his last Will and Testament; and that said Testator at the time of executing the same, as aforesaid was of full age, of sound mind and under no constraint when he signed said Will.
