Is anyone researching the W Essington born in 1808 tha appears
on the 1850 census for Clinton Co.? I am intersted in establishing any
relation ship to Robert Essington who was born in Pa. in 1812. Both
men first went to Ohio where Robert stayed while W. went on to Iowa and
finally Carrol county.

retirees? I am searching for Clarence Jones. I know he worked for
the railroad in the 1930's. He was still living in Centralia at 134
Pullen in 1945. I am guessing that he worked for the Illinois Central

I am looking for any family member of these two families, or
any information anyone might have on them. CHARLES REEDER, wife BESSIE
( SMITH ) and children, THELMA, MINDA, GARNET, JAMES, BEULAH and NADINE.
CHARLES FOSTER, wife STELLA (SMITH) and children, VALERA and GILBERT.
Both of these families were living in Carlyle in the 1920 census, as neighbors.
And at the time of Bessie and Stella's brother ,Felix's death in 1934,
they were still both living in Carlyle. In the 1920 census Gilbert Foster
is said to be a tailor , with his own shop. Felix Smith was my gr.grandfather
and Bessie and Stella were his sisters. I would very much like to find
any remaining relatives and find out what happened to Bessie and Stella,
and their children. Any information on these families would be very much

My name is Bobby Barth, my father and his brother were from New
Baden.There names were Borth George Joseph and Christian Charles Borth.
Both were orphans and were raised by an aunt Ida Monken. I would like
to find if there are any of their relatives left and would like to find
any history that can be traced back to them. I HAVE A HISTORY OF THESE FAMILES
THAT IS VERY VAGUE WRITTEN BY MY UNCLE. FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD IS MY

family. Her parents were Wendell Kuenke and Anna Maul. My aunt, Leona
Caroline, was born 8-2-1915 in Germantown, Clinton Co., IL. She had

when she met and married my uncle, Harville Campbell. They settled in
