I am searching for any information available on my paternal grandparents, WILFRED ROBERT SMITH and DOROTHY MAY LABRIESE (LABREESE, etc.). I believe they were married in Clinton Co., IL in the late 1800's. They had four childred, Earl, Leroi, Ivor and Dorothy. WILFRED ROBERT SMITH wrote and published books and newspapers. He also practiced as a doctor of sorts. DOROTHY MAY LABRIESE SMITH may have been a nurse. The later settled in Vancouver, British Columbia where my father, IVOR INGOMAR SMITH was born on April 25, 1909. Theyalso lived in Washington state where their daughter, Dorothy, died, and in Oregon (Coos Bay area) and in the Los Angeles area of California.Very little information is known on these two people, and virtually none at all on their families.
