Henrietta Holthaus, 77

Beckemeyer resident Mrs. Henrietta "Etta" M. Holthaus died Tuesday, March 22, 1994, in Barnes hospital in St. Louis. She was 77 years old.

A daughter of Gerhard and Mary Goestenkors Richter, she was born in Lumberton, Miss., on May 19, 1916. On Nov. 14, 1939, she married Vincent Holthaus in St. Louis. He died May 25, 1973.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Beth Deiters, Mrs. Evie Lammers and Mrs. Marcie Deiters, all of Beckemeyer; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert and Cyril Richter of St. Louis, Lawrence Richter of Cooper City, Fla., and Edward Richter of St. Charles, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Koch of Beckemeyer and Mrs. Agnes McCain of Highland.

Mrs. Holthaus was a bus driver for Oliver Davis Bus Lines. She was a member of St. Ann's Altar Sodality.

She also was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Beckemeyer, where her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25. Rev. James Deiters and Rev. Joseph Thoonkuzhy will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Thursday, March 24, and from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. Friday.
