Michael J. Feldman, 48, of Salem, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, at the Public hospital of the Town of Salem.

He was born in Breese on Nov. 14, 1950, the son of Ralph and Evelyn (Kolmer) Feldman. He married Linda Allison in Salem on Dec. 19, 1991, and she survives.

Additional survivors include his father, Ralph Feldman of Beckemeyer; two sons, Ryan Feldman of Salem and Joe Feldman of Breese; three daughters, Colleen Rankin of Salem, Karen Feldman of Breese, and Jenny (Mike) Rivera of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren; four brothers, Richard “Rick” (Ellen) Feldman of Warrenton, Mo., Gerald Feldman of Beckemeyer, James (Janice) Feldman of Carlyle, and John (Angela) Feldman of Beckemeyer; and a sister, Jane (Carlos) Lauchu of Panama.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Feldman was a prison guard at the Centralia Correctional Center.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle, Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. A vigil service was held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial was in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Beckemeyer.
