DEATH OF MRS. ROSETTE KRAMER

Mrs. Rosette Beckemeyer Kramer, wife of Rudolph Kramer, of Beckemeyer, died at the family home Sunday evening, after an illness extending over a period of four years, at the age of 37 years, 2 months and 27 days. The funeral took place from the German Evangelical church in this city, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Doellfeld, the pastor officiating, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Carlyle cemetery. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.

The deceased was very popular, not only in her home town, but here in Carlyle as well, where she was well known. The church edifice was crowded with friends and relatives during the funeral services. She was born on the 7th day of May, 1881, on the old Christian Beckemeyer farm 2 miles south of Beckemeyer, and was later baptized and confirmed in the German Evangelical church. On the 24th day of December, 1899, she became the wife of Rudolph Kramer. This union was blessed with nine children, two of whom died in infancy. She leaves to mourn her loss the husband and seven children: Innes, Virgil, Gordon, Loretta, Floyd, Lena and 2 months-old baby, James Wilson; two brothers, Henry and William Beckemeyer, and three sisters: Mrs. Christine Meyers, Mrs. Maggie Walker and Mrs. Mary Wullmen, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

We join in extending sympathy to the bereaved in their and affection.
