Luella Woltering, 75

The funeral of Mrs. Clarence “Shorty” (Luella) Woltering, 75, of rural Carlyle, will be held Friday, Sept. 21, at 11:00 a.m.at St. John United Church of Christ in Breese. Rev. Raymond Fuller will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Woltering died Monday, Sept. 17, at her home.

A daughter of Henry B. and Caroline Bloemker Hilgemann, she was born in Wheatfield Township on July 27, 1915. On June 19, 1951, she married Clarence Woltering in Marydale and he survives.

Other survivors include one brother, William Hilgemann of Colfax and one sister, Mrs. Hilda McQuade of Carlyle.

Mrs. Woltering had been employed at Trimfoot in Carlyle and was a member of St. Johns’ Church.

Visitation will be at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20.
