Henry Huelsmann Died Suddenly

Henry B. Huelsmann, well known farmer and threshing machinery operator passed away suddenly at his home in Beckemeyer Saturday afternoon of a heart attack. He had been in ill health for some time suffering from asthma but his heart seemingly was all right.

Mr. Huelsmann was born in St. Rose Township, February 20, 1895, a son of the late Theodore and Anna Richter Huelsmann. He was united in marriage at Carlyle May 24, 1916, with Anna Kellermann, who preceded him in death in February, 1947. To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Wieter of St. Louis. Also left to mourn his death are two brothers, John of Breese and Benedict of St. Rose.

Mr. Huelsmann was a member of the C. K. & L. of I. He lived in Carlyle until shortly after his wife’s death when he moved to St. Rose with his brother and then to Beckemeyer.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at nine o’clock from St. Mary’s church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. B. W. Hilgenber, officiating. Interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery.
