BERNHARD KRAMER DIES AT ANNA STATE HOSPITAL

Bernhard Kramer, aged 54, who resided most of his life in Wheatfield and Wade townships, died Monday of last week at the Anna State hospital, where he had been a patient for about two years. His burial took place at Breese a week ago today.

The deceased was a son of Benjamin Kramer, one of the oldest and best known farmers in Wheatfield township. He leaves a wife, who prior to her marriage, was Miss Sophie Taylor, and six children, William, Alvin, Albert, Linda, Lydia and Mildred, all of whom live on the home place.

George Kramer of Greenville, a brother, and Mrs. Joe Kline of Sandoval, a sister, also survive. Another brother, Rudy Kramer, of Beckemeyer, preceded him to the grave a few weeks ago. In addition to those he leaves a half-brother, Will Hammel of Beaver Prairie, and half-sister, Miss Eliza Schnieder of Beckemeyer.

Mr. Kramer was a good citizen and a kind of loving father, and was greatly respected by all who knew him. The Union Banner joins the many friends of the deceased in extending its sympathy to aged father, the wife and children and other relatives.
