Mrs. Anna Kramer, 91, Dies Friday, Survived By Four Generations

Mrs. Anna Kramer of Wheatfield township died at 5:15 p.m. last Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital of a heart ailment at the age of 91, leaving 30 descendents representing four generations.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Frerker Funeral Home to the Immanuel United Church of Christ and burial was in the Carlyle cemetery. The Rev. William J. Schweickhart officiated.

Mrs. Kramer was born in Wade township October 8, 1875, a daughter of Louis and Ida Hostmeyer Siever. She and George Kramer were married in Bond county October 20, 1896.

Mr. Kramer’s death in 1940 ended their 44 years of married life.

Surviving are five sons, Harry B. Kramer and Walter L. Kramer of Route 2, Carlyle, Ervin W. Kramer of Houston, Tex., George A. Kramer of Fruitland Park, Miss., and Roy Kramer of Rankin, Ill.; a brother, Jule A. Siever of Carlyle; and a sister, Mrs. Maida Beckemeyer of Macon, Ill.

There are nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
