Arthur F. Feltrop, 86, of Breese, died Monday, Jan. 30, 1989, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born in Breese on Dec. 9, 1902, son of Anton and Catherine (Sess) Feltrop. He married Lilian E. Thien on Oct. 31, 1922, and she survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Glennen Feltrop and Norbert Feltrop, both of Breese; three daughters, Juliann Feltrop of Breese, Cleo Busselmann of St Louis and Marlene Leard of O'Fallon; a sister, Leona Stoll of St. Louis; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Feltrop was a retired coal miner and a member of the St. Augustine Holy Name Society and the United Mine Workers of America.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Richard Mohr officiating. Burial will be in St. Dominic Cemetery in Breese.

Friends may call at the Bruegge Funeral Home in Breese from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and from 8 to 9:45 a.m. on Thursday.
