Anton Endres

Anton B. Endres, 89, of Germantown died Sunday, March 4, 1990 at Breese Nursing Home in Breese.

He was born on February 24, 1901, son of Anton and Elizabeth (Korte) Endres. He married Marie Haar on May 13, 1923 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and she preceded him in death, on November 14, 1983.

He is survived by four sons, Virgil Endres of Forsyth, MO; Norman and Tony Endres both of Germantown and Jerry Endres of Breese; four daughters, Valeria Kuhl of Germantown, Dolores Fonke of Breese, Florence Sarten of Lenor City, TN and Margaret Huelsmann of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; 31 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren, He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Endres and two grandchildren Mary Margaret Endres and Robert Huelsmann.

He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Boniface Church and Men's Sodality, former director of Federal Land Bank and a member of Germantown Senior Citizens.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 7, at 11 am. at St. Boniface Church in Germantown with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating. Burial was in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
