Two persons were killed and at least three others were injured, one seriously in traffic accidents in the Belleville area during the weekend.

A head-on collision on a narrow rural road at 8 o'clock last night took the lives of a young couple, critically injured another man near Breese. The dead were Ralph Diekmann, 24, of Carlyle, driver of one of the automobiles and Miss Anita Rensing, 17, of Trenton a passenger in Diekmann car.
