Jeanette Perkes

Jeanette Perkes nee Fuhler, 65, of Breese died Monday. Aug. 11, 1997, at her residence in Breese.

She was bom in Aviston on May 20, 1932, to Herman and Bertha (Stumpf) Fuhler. She married Elmer C. "Buddy" Perkes on April 23, 1952, at St.Francis Church in Aviston, and he survives in Bneese.

Also surviving are three daughters, Cindy Rensing and Sherry Rehkemper, both of St. Rose, and Pam Fields of Breese; two brothers, Ralph Fuhler of Carlyle and Don Fuhler of New Baden; three sisters, Edna Markus of Breese and BC Foppe and Irene Buscher, both of Aviston; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with the Rev. Patrick Peter officiating, Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery in Breese.

Friends may call at the Moss Funeral Home ln Breese on Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Note: This obit states Jeannette Perk's mother's maiden name was Stumpf. We believe that is an error. Descendants have spell the name as Stoff.
