Dolores M. Ziemba, 77, of Aviston, and formerly of Washington Park, died Friday, Jan. 23rd, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.

She was born on March 2nd, 1926, in East St. Louis, the daughter of Michael and Anna Bachesta Bales, and they preceded her in death. On Aug. 29th, 1953, at St. Martins of Tours in Washington Park, she married Joseph Ziemba, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 10th, 1995.

Surviving are a son, Michael Ziemba of Shattuc, a daughter, Suzanne Iberg of Aviston; a grandson; and three sisters, Leona Keller of St. Paul Park, Minn., Emily Coleman of Granite City and Elizabeth “Betty” Miller of St. Louis, Mo.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by infant twin granddaughters.

Mrs. Ziemba worked at Hunter Packing in East St. Louis. She was a homemaker.

She was also a member of St. Francis Church in Aviston, where her funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 27th, at 10 a.m.

Interment followed in St. Francis Cemetery.

Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
