Joseph H. Husmann, 77, of Highland died Saturday, Feb. 7th, 2004, at Highland Healthcare Center.

He was born on March 11th, 1926, in Carlyle, the son of Nicholas and Theresia Voss Husmann.

Surviving is his twin sister, Bernice Thien of Highland.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Raymond and “Chuck” Clarence Husmann, and a sister, Nellie Lake.

Mr. Husmann worked as a farmer and owned Joe’s Radio & TV Service in Carlyle. He was a past Grand Knight of Columbus Council 1382 and a 20-year volunteer for the Carlyle Fire Protection District #1.

He was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carlyle, where a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 10th, at 2 p.m., with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating.

Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation was at Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle.
