Vera C. Lee, 89

Vera C. Lee, 89, of Trenton died Wednesday, Feb. 4th, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.

She was born on December 8th, 1914, in Summerfield, the daughter of Oscar and Ella Gross Weil, and they preceded her in death. In September 1937, in St. Louis, Mo., she married Homer Lee, and he preceded her in death on April 8th, 1956.

Surviving is a daughter, Babs Cunningham of Trenton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester Weil and Oscar Weil, Jr.

Mrs. Lee was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Trenton which she served as treasurer for more than 40 years, and she was past secretary and treasurer of Trenton Women’s Bowling League.

She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Trenton, where her funeral service was conducted on Saturday, Feb. 7th, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Debbie Melzer officiating.

Interment was in Trenton Cemetery.

Moss Funeral Home in Trenton handled the arrangements.
