Mildred Bassler, 83

Mildred Bassler, 83, of Trenton died Sunday, July 25th, 2004, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Lebanon.

She was born Nov. 23rd, 1920, in Trenton, the daughter of Charles J. and Elizabeth Schrag Miener, and they preceded her in death. On Sept. 14th, 1939, at Highland Evangelical Church, she married Benjamin Bassler and he survives in Trenton.

Surviving is a daughter, June Bailey of Belleville; and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were five brothers, Henry, William, Albert, Paul and John Miener.

She was a homemaker. She was a past member of West Gate Baptist Church in Trenton and past Matron of Eastern Star 756.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 29th, at noon at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton, with Rev. Mike May officiating.

Burial will follow in Trenton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 29th, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
