Donald J. Dieckmann, 62

Donald J. Dieckmann, 62, of New Athens and formerly of Frogtown, died Monday, Nov. 8th, 2004, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.

He was born in Breese on Aug. 5th, 1942, the son of Eugene and Mayme Shepherd Dieckmann, and they preceded him in death.

Surviving are three sons, Brian and Bob Dieckmann, both of Carlyle and Donald Dieckmann, Jr., of Texas; a daughter, Missy Dieckmann of Highland; and five grandchildren.

He was employed with Deli Star in Fayetteville and a member of First Baptist Church in Carlyle.

Graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 12th, at 10 a.m. at Ellwood Cemetery in Breese, with Brother Bill Chambers officiating.

Moss Funeral Home in Breese was in charge of the arrangements.
