Frank Armer, 77
Frank Armer, 77, of Carlyle died Tuesday, Nov. 2nd, 2004, at his daughter’s home in Central City.
He was born June 8th, 1927, in Shumway, the son of Benjamin and Laura Lilly Armer, and they preceded him in death. On Oct. 17th, 1953, in St. Charles, Mo., he married Betty Koehler, and she survives.
Surviving is a son, Rex Armer of Imperial Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Pat Donoho and Linda Hoffmann, both of Central City and Doris Kapp of Marine; and 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was a retired postal employee. He was a member of the Army 1253rd Combat Division during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the Goldsmith-Terry Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3523 in Carlyle and Ruf-Marcham American Legion Post 404 in Carlyle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 6th, at 10 a.m. at Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle.
Graveside services with military honors will be accorded at the Carlyle Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 5th from 4-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
