Eleanor M. Wessling, 76

Eleanor M. Wessling, 76, of Germantown died Sunday, Oct. 31st, 2004, at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese.

She was born July 11th, 1928, in Germantown, the daughter of George and Veronica Schomacher Beer, and they preceded her in death. She married Vincent Wessling on Oct. 1st, 1947, at St. Boniface Church in Germantown, and he preceded her in death March 19th, 1986.

Surviving are three daughters, Diane Schniers and Joyce Kuhl, both of Germantown, and Charlene Albers of Bartelso; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Raymond and Walter Beer, both of Germantown, and George Beer, Jr., of Iuka; and a sister, Marilyn Jansen of Germantown.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Beer.

She owned and operated Vince’s Tavern in Germantown. She was a member of St. Boniface Church in Germantown and Clinton County Tavern Owners Association.

A funeral mass was held Tuesday, Nov. 2nd, at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Church, with Father Stephen Humphrey officiating.

Burial was in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
