Emma A. Huelsmann, 70

Emma A. Huelsmann, 70, of Aviston died Friday, Sept. 17th, 2004, at her home.

She was born Feb. 13th, 1934, in Breese, the daughter of Bernard and Emma Lampe Schmeink, and they preceded her in death. On Oct. 14th, 1959, at St. Mary’s Church in Carlyle, she married James J. Huelsmann, and he survives.

Surviving are four daughters, Nancy Huelsmann of San Diego, Calif., Alice Deien of Trenton, Mary Hosley of Ballwin, Mo., and Carol Lindstrom of Godfrey; six sons, Vince, Kurt, Paul and Duane Huelsmann all of Aviston, Henry Huelsmann of Creve Coeur, Mo., and Joe Huelsmann of Washington; four grandchildren; and four brothers, Arnold, Paul and Henry Schmeink, all of Carlyle, and Leo Schmeink of Davenport, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by twin brothers, Bernard and John in infancy.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis Parish and Alter Sodality and Clinton County Homemakers Extension Association.

A funeral mass was held Monday, Sept. 20th, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Church in Aviston, with Rev. Dan Friedman officiating.

Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery.

Visitation was a Hempen Funeral Home in Aviston.
