Charles C. Buehler, 97

Charles C. Buehler, 97, of Trenton died Monday, Sept. 20th, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.

He was born Nov. 6th, 1906, in Trenton, the son of Julius and Elizabeth Lippert Buehler, and they preceded him in death. He married Selma Zitzmann on May 27th, 1938, at St. Mary Church in Trenton, and she preceded him in death July 25th, 1987.

Surviving is a son, Charles Buehler of O’Fallon; a daughter, Helen Friess of Trenton; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson; three brothers, John, Fred and Walter Buehler; and three sisters, Alice Phillips, Lillian and Florence Buehler.

He was a retired salesman from Koch Candy Company in Trenton and a member of Trenton Senior Citizens and former member and treasurer of Trenton Sportsman’s Club.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept.24, at 10 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton, with Sister Angela Schrage officiating.

Burial will follow in Trenton Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 23rd, from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, Sept. 24th, from 8 a.m. until time of service at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
