Steve P. Becker, 45, of Bartelso died Friday, Sept. 17th, 2004, in Madison County.

He was born March 1st, 1959, in East St. Louis, the son of Paul and Marcella Beckmann Becker, and they survive in Bartelso.

Surviving is a sister, Charlene Huegen of Bartelso.

He was a carpenter with Water Cooling Equipment Co. in Bridgeton, Mo. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso, Sons of the American Legion in Beckemeyer, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 633 of St. Louis, A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois.

A funeral mass was held Tuesday, Sept. 21st, at 2 p.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso, with Father Henry Fischer officiating.

Burial was in St. Cecilia Cemetery.

Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
