Bernadine C. ‘Bernie’ Eversgerd, 84

Bernadine C. “Bernie” Eversgerd, 84, of Kirkwood, Mo., and formerly of Germantown, died Aug. 30th, 2004, at St. Agnes Home in Kirkwood.

She was born April 12, 1920, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Henry and Bernadine Machens Teipel, and they preceded her in death. On June 19th, 1945, in St. Charles, Mo., she married Dr. Valerian Eversgerd, and he preceded her in death May 13th, 1974.

Surviving is a son, Val Eversgerd of Creve Coeur, Mo.; a daughter, Barbara C. Milfield of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Kirkwood, Mo., and Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, Sept. 2nd, at 10 a.m. at the chapel at St. Agnes Home in Kirkwood, with Msgr. Granich officiating.
