Ruby L. Brower, 93

Ruby L. Brower, 93, of rural Carlyle died Sunday, July 18th, 2004, at her residence.

She was born May 15th, 1911, in Sikeston, Mo., the daughter of Dave and Mary Matin Parks, and they preceded her in death. She married Richard M. Brower in 1930 in Kennett, Mo., and he preceded her in death July 9th, 1983.

Surviving are two sons, Charles David Brower of Bowling Green, Ky., and Richard Lee Brower of Homestead, Fla.; a daughter, Mary Hetzel of Carlyle; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, David Paul Parks of Pensacola, Fla.

She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ in Centralia.

Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, July 21st, at 10 a.m. at Church of Christ, with Stephen Nail officiating.

Burial followed in Carlyle Cemetery.

Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle handled the arrangements.
