Ruth C. Tyberendt, 82

Ruth C. Tyberendt, 82, of Huey died Friday, April 9th, 2004, at the Carlyle Healthcare Center.

She was born on March 11th, 1922, in Covington, the daughter of Henry and Louise Borgeding Schwettman, and they preceded her in death. She married Alfred Tyberendt on Dec. 14th, 1941, in Hoffman, and he preceded her in death on April 3rd, 1976.

Surviving are a son, Lyle Tyberendt of Huey, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Earl Tyberendt; a grandson; a sister, Louis Ahrens, and a brother, Harry Ahrens.

Mrs. Tyberendt was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle and the Monday quilting group. She had retired from the Carlyle Healthcare Center dietary department. She enjoyed farming, gardening and her family.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 12th, at 11 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle, with Rev. Steven Sommerer officiating.

Interment was in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hoffman.

Visitation was at Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle.
