Michelle D. Jarrell, 52

Michelle D. Jarrell, 52, of Breese died Saturday, March 6th, 2004, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.

She was born on December 18th, 1951, in Belleville, the daughter of Kathryn Kyle and Jon Orwig, DDS, and they preceded her in death. On March 16th, 1973, in O’Fallon, she married Ronald Jarrell, and he preceded her in death on February 19th, 2004.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Jarrell of Shiloh; a son, Brian Jarrell of Breese; a grandson, Kyle Jarrell; two brothers, Jon Orwig of Flora and Carl Orwig of Troy, two sisters, Julienne Moreland of Marro Bay, Calif., and Kathryn Orwig of Elk Grove, Calif.

Mrs. Jarrell was a bus driver for Durham School Services. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese and a former cub master, boy scout leader and chairperson of Breese Community Friends of Scouts.

A funeral mass was celebrated today, Wednesday, March 10th, at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic church in Breese, with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating.

Interment was in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese.

Moss Funeral Home in Breese handled the arrangements.
