John William McDaniel, 48

John William McDaniel, 48, of Posey died Saturday, March 6th, 2004.

He was born on March 22nd, 1955, in East St. Louis, the son of William and Christine Drummond McDaniel.

Surviving are his mother, Christine, McDaniel of Posey; a daughter, Teri Lynn of Belleville; two sisters, Ellen McDaniel and Tammy Stollard, both of Belleville, and two brothers, Michael McDaniel of Belleville and Lyndall McDaniel of Centralia.

Preceding him in death was his father, William McDaniel.

Mr. McDaniel graduated from Belleville East High School in 1972 and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. After his discharge form the armed forces, John worked as a photographer and a truck driver.

A memorial service was conducted today, Wednesday, March 10th, at 11 a.m., at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle.

Interment was in Posey Cemetery.
