Henry W. Deutsch of 706 N. Main St., Desloge, [Missouri] passed away Feb. 7, 1965, at the Bonne Terre Hospital at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 21 days. He was born Aug. 16, 1889, in Breese, Ill., and was a son of the late Anthony and Katharine (Behrns) Deutsch.

He is survived by his wife, Ella (Smith) Deutsh of Desloge; a daughter, Mrs. Homer (Elanore) Beeson of Allen Park, Mich.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Donald (Jane) Lingo of Flint, Mich.; a brother, Anthony Deutsch of St. Louis; four sisters, Miss Josephine Deutsch, Mrs. William (Cecelia) Dawkins and Mrs. Mike (Anna) Lahey [Lehey], all of St. Louis, and Mrs. Mike (Mayme) Habich of Breese, Ill. The body lay in state at Sparks Funeral Home in Flat River where the Rosary was recited in the chapel on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m.. The Rev. Charl [sic] Torrence officiated at services conducted Wednesday, Feb 10, at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery in St. Francois, under the direction of Murphy L. Sparks Funeral Home, Flat River.
