John GRAYLING, 84, OF CARLYLE OF DIES

John George Grayling 84, of Carlyle, died yesterday at St. Joseph's Clinton County Hospital in Breese.

He was born in Livingston County, the son of Henry and Lizzie HEPPE Grayling . He married Martha BACKS in 1925 and she died in 1960.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Freida WINKLER, of Centralia, Mrs. Lucille JASPER and Mrs. Shirley POMMER both of of Beckemeyer; six sons, Elbert and Harold of both of Huffman, Oscar, of Olney; Larrain, of Kankakee; Truman and Clifford both of Carlyle; a sister, Mrs. Meta BOSKETT, Detroit, Mich; three brothers, Oscar and Ed DANAMANN both of Carlyle, and Conrad Danamann of Belleville; 25 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle with the Rev. Robert KAHRE officiating. Burial will be in Posey. Friends may call at the FRERKER Funeral Home in Carlyle after 4 p.m. tomorrow until Friday noon when the body will be taken to the church.
