Henry H. KUES Rites at Breese

Henry H. Kues, a mail messenger at Breese died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese Sunday at the age of 76.

He was born at Aviston, the son of Gerhard and Wiltamine OTKE [ Wilhamine (TOEBEN)OTKE] Kues and married Catherine RATERMAN on May 9 1911 in Breese.

Surviving are his wife, seven children, Mrs. Ann BURHORN, Raymond Kues and Mrs. Henrietta ISAAK all of St. Louis; Mrs. Rosemary Isaak of Carlyle; Orville Kues of Florissant, MO; Mrs. Florence DUNCAN of Highland; and Mrs. Alice FIELDS of Breese; 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary SCHULTE of Aviston and Mrs. Martha LAMPE of East St. Louis. Two children preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Dominic's Church with Rev H. H. AYDT officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
