SCHULTE, William G

William G. SCHULTE, 85, of Carlyle Health Center in Carlyle, formerly of Aviston, Ill., died Friday, July 21, 1989 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Breese, Ill.

He retired from the State of Illinois Highway Department and was a member of St. Francis Men's Club.

Preceding in death were his wife, Ottilia, nee HUEGEN, Schulte, whom he married February 26, 1935; parents, Frank and Mary, nee KUES, Schulte; two brother, George and Alphonse Schulte.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara SPRINGS of Schnecksville, Penn., Patricia WALTERS of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, William J. Schulte of Everett, Wash.; a sister, Hilda Schulte of Carlyle, Ill.; three brothers, Henry Schulte of St. Louis, Mo., Edward "Butch" Schulte of Trenton, Ill. and Otto Schulte of Aviston, Ill.; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Church, Aviston, with Rev. John Terepka officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Brefeld Funeral Home in Aviston.
