Otto F. Kuess (KUES), Tenton, Retired Miller, Dies, 65
Otto Fred Kuess (Kues), 65, of Trenton, died at 2:30 this morning at St. Joseph's hospital, Highland, where he entered on Sunday for treatment of a severe cold. Apparent cause of death was pneumonia.
Mr. Keuss (Kues) had retired as an employee of the Trenton Milling Company a year ago.
He was born in Aviston, April 3, 1890, a son of the late Gerhard and Philomina Tabin OTKE Kuess, both natives of Germany. He married Clara DANIEL at Aviston on June 6, 1916.
Besides his wife, he is survived by eleven sons and daughters, Johanna, wife of Al RENSCHEN; Daniel, of Breese; Sylvia, wife of Robert RATTERMANN, Aviston; May Jane, wife of Otto KORTE; Delores, wife of Anthony LAMPE; Elizabeth, wife of Ralph SPIHLMANN; Cyril, all of Trenton; Edmund and Marha Kuess, at home; Joseph, of Louisville, Ky.; Urban, of Long Island, N.Y.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Leo Lampe, East St. Louis; Mrs. Mary SCHULTE, Aviston; two brothers, John, of Aviston; Henry, of Breese; eighteen grandchildren.
The body is at the Glazner funeral home, Trenton. Arrangements are incomplete.
