KUES, Oscar G

Oscar G. KUES passed away Saturday, July 13, 1996, at the Eden Home in New Braunfels, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie WEATHERLY Kues; son and daughter -in-law Gleen and Susan Kues and grandchildren Darcy and Chris Kues, all of New Braunfels. Also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Elvira Kues of New Baden, Ill.; sisters Helen BUSSEN of Ogden, Utah, Gen MARKUS of Aviston, Ill.; sisters and brothers-in-law Cattie and Bill Bussen, Frances and Bob SCHALLER, all of St. Louis, Mo., Marcella and Eddie HAUKAP of Aviston, Ill., and numerous nieces and nephews. Following service in the U.S. Army (Infantry) for which he received recognition for valor during battles near Bambou, Luson, Mr. Kues was employed by Century Papers in San Antonio for 20 years. He was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 1996, at the Sts. Peter & Paul with Msgr. Edward Bily and Msgr. Bob Bussen celebrants. Interment to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Fort Sam Huston National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 386 N. Castell, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, or the Alzheimer's Association, 8546 Broadway, Suite 110, San Antonio, Texas 78217
