Funeral of Mrs. KUES Wednesday.

The funeral of Mrs. Gerhard Kues, who passed away at the Sacred Heart Old Folks Home, was held Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock from St. Francis church with Rev. Father Lohmann officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary, Mrs. Frank SCHULTE, of Aviston; Martha, Mrs. Leo LAMPE of East St. Louis; three sons, John Kues of south of Aviston; Otto Kues of Trenton and Henry Kues of near Breese. A number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.

The deceased was a member of the Married Ladies Sodality. The members of this organization attended the funeral in a body.
