NETEMEYER, Alvin G

Alvin G. NETEMEYER, 78, of Rural Albers, born January 19, 1913 in Lookingglass Township, died on Saturday, April 6, 1991, at his residence.

He was a retired dairy farmer; member of St. Bernards Parish and the Mens Club; Albers Knight of Columbus in Breese, and the Clinton County Farm Bureau.

Preceded in death were the parents, Otto and Catherine, nee ROLVES, Netemeyer; a son, Joseph Netemeyer; and a sister, Laurene GRAPPERHAUS.

Surviving are his wife, Rita, nee KUES, Netemeyer, who he married on September 5, 1945 in Aviston, Ill.; four sons, Tom (Barbara) Netemeyer of Mason City, Iowa, Donald (Shirley) Netemeyer of Damiansville, Ill., Dan Netemeyer of Columbia, Mo., Kenneth Netemeyer of Mountain Grove, Mo.; three daughters, Margaret (Leonard) COCKERILL of San Antonio, Texas, Barbara (Mark) HOLLENKAMP of Valrico, Fla., Sharon (Jerry) LAMPE of Aviston; two sisters, Lena HOERCSCHMEYER and Ceil MEYER, both of St. Louis, Mo.; and sixteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Bernards Catholic Church in Albers, with the Rev. Leo Reinhardt officiating. Burial will be at St. Bernards Cemetery in Albers.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday, at the Hempen Funeral Home in Albers.

Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
