Lee Dora TAYLOR, 77, of Carlyle, died Wednesday at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born in Carlyle on Feb. 28, 1915 to Fred and Fannie [ALLEN] MEIER. She married Lawzenis "Dode" Taylor in Carlyle on Nov 29,1931, and he died in 1986. She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn REYNOLDS, of Carlyle and three sisters, Adelpha SPEISER of Carlyle, Bernadine HUEGEN of Albers, and Mary BERGER of Spring Hill Florida, a step brother, Carl COOK of Carlyle and 5 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was a ladies garment worker. She belonged to the Loyal Order of the Moose and International Ladies Garment Worker's Union.

Funeral services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle, with the Rev. Jerome Feldmann officiating. Burial will be in Carlyle Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and until time of services on Saturday at the Frerker Funeral Home.
