Lawzenis "Dode" or "Cowboy" TAYLOR, 77, of Carlyle, died Saturday at the Breese Nursing Home.

He was born in Carlyle on June 25, 1908, son of James H. and Edith [STEIN] Taylor. He married Lee Dora MEIER on Nov 29 1931 in Carlyle and she survives.

Other survivors include daughter, Evelyn "Peaches" REYNOLDS of Carlyle, a brother, James Taylor of Carlyle, and five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mr. Taylor was a retired truck driver. He was a World War II Veteran.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10.a.m. at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle with the Rev. Victor Sulkowski officiating.

Burial will be in the Carlyle Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m Sunday and until services Monday.
