The funeral of 76-year-old William H. TAYLOR of Carlyle Route 3 was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 10th, in St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Albers with Father Edward Reeb officiating. Internment was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Taylor, a former Albers resident, was found dead April 7th 1982 at his club house near the Kaskaskia River.

He was employed in the trucking business for 35 years and was a former scoutmaster.

Born in Carlyle June 18, 1905, Mr. Taylor was the son of James and Edith STEIN Taylor. He married Gertrude EVANS in Beckemeyer May 12, 1928.

Mr. Taylor is survived by three sons, Norman of Centralia, Wilson of Albers, and James of Breese.; a daughter , Mrs. Opal SUHL of Centralia; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren ; two brothers, L. A. Taylor and James J. Taylor both of Carlyle.

Visitation was held at the Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. The Rosary was recited at St. Bernard's Church Friday afternoon.

Note: William died 7 Apr 1982 of a heart attack. He had pheblits for years.
