Mildred K. Taylor 77, of Carlyle died Tuesday at the Breese Nursing home,

She was born 4 June1914 Carlyle, daughter of Herman and Cecilia (WINKLER) KOLMER. She married Jim TAYLOR on May 7,1930 in Salem, and he survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Roy of Beckemeyer, Jesse Taylor and Jack Taylor both of Carlyle, and Robert Taylor of Cabot Ark; five daughters, Mildred LAMPE of Germantown, Phyllis SCHNIERS and Nancy WOOD of Carlyle, Eileen ALLISON of Bethalto, and Darlene HEGGER of Aviston; 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was a life long area resident, a homemaker and a member of St, Mary's Church in Carlyle.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a. m. at the Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle with the Rev. Jerome Feldmann officiating . Burial will be in the Carlyle Cemetery.

Visitation is at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.

Memorials may be made to the Breese Nursing home and will be received at the funeral home
